The Board of Supervisors of the County of Del Norte and the governing body of all other special assessment and taxing districts, for which said Board so acts, is now meeting in special session. Only those items that indicate a specific time will be heard at the assigned time. All other items may be taken out of sequence to accommodate the public and staff availability. |
2. Pledge of Allegiance to be led by Heidi Kunstal, Director of the Community Development Department.
4. Consider adoption of a Resolution declaring the existence of an emergency due to a pressure sewer line failure under U.S. Highway 101 at Elk Valley Road and Sunset Circle and incorporate in the Resolution the following delegation of authorities: (A) authorize the County Administrative Officer to take any directly related and immediate action to repair the pressure sewer line without adoption of plans or specifications or providing the bidding process; and (B) authorize the County Engineer to be designated for the Caltrans Encroachment Permit as requested by the Director of the Community Development Department.**
