The Board of Supervisors of the County of Del Norte and the governing body of all other special assessment and taxing districts, for which said Board so acts, is now meeting in special session. Only those items that indicate a specific time will be heard at the assigned time. All other items may be taken out of sequence to accommodate the public and staff availability. |
2. The Pledge of Allegiance to be led by Lonnie Reyman, Chief Probation Officer.
4. Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Commission presentation in relation to status of Bar-O Boys Ranch.** (Chair, Paul Dilliard)
5. Discuss and take possible action on the report of Bar-O Financial Issues and Alternatives.** (Lonnie Reyman, Chief Probation Officer; Jay Sarina, County Administrative Officer)
Action: The Board approved by Consensus to direct Administration Staff to set up a Bar-O Committee meeting and discuss with Bar-O and Probation staff to prepare an outline on a possible closure of Bar-O and also work with the Department of Education on other solutions before the Board revisits the issue at the May 09, 2017 Board of Supervisors meeting.
