The Board of Supervisors of the County of Del Norte and the governing body of all other special assessment and taxing districts, for which said Board so acts, is now meeting in special session. Only those items that indicate a specific time will be heard at the assigned time. All other items may be taken out of sequence to accommodate the public and staff availability. |
Due to
the ongoing COVID-19 issues, the Governor of the State of California has issued
Executive Order N-29-20 and Order N-25-20 establishing social distancing
measures and suspending provisions of the Brown Act. For this reason we ask that you:

a public comment form. Your comment will be limited to 3000 characters. Your
comment will be read aloud during the public comment period. Please submit only

paid leave for non-essential employees and additional floating holidays for
essential employees during the COVID-19 Pandemic as requested by
Administration, Personnel/Risk Management and County Counsel.**

Approved. RESO#2020-025. The motion stated to adopt the Resolution
establishing temporary paid leave for non-essential employees and additional
personal holidays for essential employees during the COVID-19 Pandemic as
amended with the word "personal" substituted for "floating"
throughout.

a Resolution re-opening Walker Road rescinding Resolution number 2020-019 as
requested by Supervisor Howard.**
Action: Approved.
RESO#2020-024. The Board approved by
Consensus to direct staff to request an exemption for Del Norte County so
vehicles can have access to local parks.

1) Award the
professional services agreement for the Pebble Beach Drive Storm Damage
Project; 2) authorize the Community Development Director to execute change
orders up to the maximum allowable under Public Contract Code §20142(b); and 3)
authorize the Community Development Director to provide ongoing written
documentation that the project is essential and proceeding is consistent with
guidance from the County's Public Health Officer and other relevant sources as
requested by the Assistant County Engineer.**

DNCOAGREE#2020-043. The motion
included the Assistant County Engineer's request to change the effective date
of the Agreement to April 21, 2020.
