The Board of Supervisors of the County of Del Norte and the governing body of all other special assessment and taxing districts, for which said Board so acts, is now meeting in regular session. Only those items that indicate a specific time will be heard at the assigned time. All other items may be taken out of sequence to accommodate the public and staff availability. Items followed with a ** indicate material attached in the agenda packet. A closed session may be held at some time during the meeting to discuss litigation and/or personnel matters. There is a 90-day statute of limitations relating to decisions rendered after a public hearing of the Board of Supervisors and a 60-day statute of limitations relating to ministerial actions of the Board of Supervisors. NOTE: If you challenge the decision of the Board of Supervisors in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in the notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Board of Supervisors at, or prior to, the public hearing. (Govt. Code § 65009). When providing written correspondence to the Board of Supervisors you must provide a copy to the Clerk of the Board for inclusion in the official record. |

· The Pledge of Allegiance to be led by Daniel Standring, Local Eagle Scout.
· Introduction of new employees to the Board of Supervisors
· Report of any actions from closed session by County Counsel.
· The Chair requests any deletions, corrections or additions from Board members to the agenda at this time. In order to add an item to the agenda, the matter must have come to the attention of the County subsequent to the posting of the agenda and the matter requires action before the next regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors.
· Receive other brief reports or announcements relative to the County of Del Norte programs and projects, progress of the two by two committees, goal committees and/or Board and staff travel/training reports.
Action: Supervisor Gitlin: Attended the Fair Volunteer Appreciation Dinner, attended the Visitors Bureau meeting, attended the Local Mental Health Board meeting and also attended the Del Norte Regional Transportation Plan meeting.
Supervisor McClure: Attended the RCTA meeting, attended the City/County 2X2, participated in the DNSWMA Agenda review, attended the Del Norte Regional Transportation Plan meeting, attended the True North meeting, participated in the Point in Time survey, attended the Senior Officials Hazard Preparedness Program (OES) and also met with the Senior Center.
Supervisor Howard: Attended the Del Norte Local Regional Transportation meeting, attended the Tri-Agency meeting, participated in a discussion with Redwood National and State Parks, attended the City/County 2X2, had a discussion with the County Auditor, County Treasurer, CAO and the School District regarding Treasury concerns, attended a meeting regarding building healthy communities on literacy and also attended a meeting with the Department of Fish and Wildlife and the Yurok Tribe regarding Blue Creek
Supervisor Finigan: Attended the Tri-Agency meeting, participated in the Oversight Board for the Redevelopment Agency, attended the BCRAA meeting, met with the President of Klamath Chamber and also met with constituents.
Supervisor Hemmingsen: Attended the NORTEC meeting, attended the BCRAA meeting, participated in Agenda Review, participated in the Smith River National Recreation Area Collaboration group meeting, attended the Del Norte County Fair Volunteer Appreciation dinner, participated in a discussion with Redwood National and State Parks, and also attended a meeting in Eureka with the US Forest Service.
· Receive a brief report from the County Administrative Officer.
Action: CAO Sarina: Spoke at the Del Norte Rotary meeting, attended a meeting with the local Judges, participated in numerous department meetings, attended a meeting with the Probation Officer and the Superintendent of Schools, attended the Tri-Agency meeting, participated in interviews for the Assistant DHHS Director, attended the City/County 2X2, attended a meeting with the Humboldt/Del Norte County Film Commissioner and also met with the Department of Fish and Wildlife and the Yurok Tribe regarding Blue Creek.
Action: Approved. Supervisor McClure pulled item #6 for further discussion. Supervisor Howard pulled item #2 for further discussion.

1. Approve Minutes from the January 26, 2016 Board of Supervisors Meeting.**
2. Approve and authorize Chair to sign the Lease Agreement between the County of Del Norte Probation Department and Hambros Forest Products, Inc. for space to operate the Paxton/Patterson Building Skills Program as requested by the Chief Probation Officer.**

3. Approve and authorize Chair to sign the Maintenance Agreement for the Border Coast Regional Authority's Pressure Sewer Line as requested by the Assistant Engineer**

4. Approve and authorize the Chair to sign the Addendum to the Agreement with the National Council on Crime and Delinquency (Agreement #2014-031) for Child Welfare Services' access to SafeMeasures reporting commencing March 01, 2016 through February 28, 2018, for a total of $12,000.00 as requested by the Director of Health and Human Services.**

5. Approve and adopt Resolution authorizing the Director of Community Development to act on behalf of the County with regard to renewal of a lease with the State Lands Commission for a portion of the Klamath Beach Road right-of-way as requested by the Director of the Community Development Department.**

6. Approve the attached list of properties to sell at a public internet auction, which are tax defaulted and subject to the Power of Sell as requested by the Treasurer-Tax Collector.**

12. 10:30 A.M. Receive a presentation from Eagle Scout Candidate, Daniel Standring regarding an Eagle Scout Project refurbishing the gateway signs to the entrance of our County.
13. 10:45 A.M. Receive a report by the City of Crescent City regarding the Proposed New Consumption Based Sewer Rate Structure.
14. Receive a report from the County Administrative Officer reviewing completed or undertaken programs and projects in 2015.
LEGISLATIVE AND BUDGET ISSUES:
15. Consider miscellaneous legislative and budget matters pertinent to the County of Del Norte. Authorize the Chair to sign and send appropriate letters with respect to matters pending before the state or federal governments.
