The Board of Supervisors of the County of Del Norte and the governing body of all other special assessment and taxing districts, for which said Board so acts, is now meeting in regular session. Only those items that indicate a specific time will be heard at the assigned time. All other items may be taken out of sequence to accommodate the public and staff availability. Items followed with a ** indicate material attached in the agenda packet. A closed session may be held at some time during the meeting to discuss litigation and/or personnel matters. There is a 90-day statute of limitations relating to decisions rendered after a public hearing of the Board of Supervisors and a 60-day statute of limitations relating to ministerial actions of the Board of Supervisors. NOTE: If you challenge the decision of the Board of Supervisors in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in the notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Board of Supervisors at, or prior to, the public hearing. Supervisor Starkey: Attended the DNSWMA meeting, dealt with constituent issues and solutions on discarding treated wood, reviewed more information about SB 1383, participated in Mental Health training, participated in a Cal-Ore Tour, attended the Chamber of Commerce meeting, participated in a KFUG PSA, attended the National Christmas Tree meeting, attended the LAFCO meeting, attended the RCTA meeting, attended the First 5 meeting, attended the farewell luncheon for former Public Health Officer Dr. Rehwaldt, participated in the Administration Manual Working Group, attended the Children’s Fair for Sandcastles by the Sea, attended the 4th of July Festivities and participated as a judge in some of them, attended the Harbor Commissioners meeting, participated in the Last Chance Grade Virtual Town Hall meeting, attended the Library District meeting and also participated in a tour of DN Ambulance.
Supervisor Howard: Attended the LTCO meeting, participated in Agenda review, attended a meeting VIA Zoom with the Legislative Analyst Office regarding the UC Cooperative Extension, attended the Tri-Agency meeting, attended a meeting with economic development contractors with the City regarding the future of Del Norte County, attended a meeting with True North regarding homelessness, dealt with constituent concerns regarding congestion on US Hwy 199, participated in the Gasquet Raft Races and events, dealt with constituent concerns on Low Divide Road and has been reviewing SB 12.
Supervisor Hemmingsen: Attended the RCRC Environmental JPA meeting, attended the Northcoast EMS meeting, attended the farewell luncheon for former Public Health Officer Dr. Rehwaldt, attended a Celebration of Life for Jeff Mitchell, attended a Class Reunion for the graduating class of 1970, participated in the 4th of July Festivities, attended the LTCO meeting, attended the Proactive Financial Goal Committee meeting and participated in a weapons training with the Sheriff.
Supervisor Berkowitz: Dealt with constituent concerns on Last Chance Grade, participated in the Last Chance Grade Virtual Town Hall meeting, attended the farewell luncheon for former Public Health Officer Dr. Rehwaldt and also participated in the local 4th of July festivities.

1. Approve and adopt Minutes from the June 22, 2021 Board of Supervisors meeting.**
2. Approve a Wireless Device Allowance for the Road Superintendent and Assistant Road Superintendent for FY 21/22 as requested by the Director of the Community Development Department.**
3. Approve and adopt the amendment to the COVID-19 Injury and Illness Prevention Program Addendum as requested by the Human Resources/Risk Manager.**
4. Approve and adopt a Resolution declaring one car, three pickups and one excavator with attachments to be surplus authorizing the sale of such surplus property as requested by the Director of the Community Development Department.**

5. Approve and authorize the Sheriff-Coroner to apply for the 2021 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant to assist in funding numerous needs within the Sheriff's Office as requested by the Sheriff-Coroner.**
6. Approve and authorize the Chair to sign the Agreement with Del Norte Mission Possible for Homeless COVID-19 Outreach Services from July 01, 2020, through June 30, 2021, not to exceed $11,000.00 as requested by the Director of Health and Human Services.**

7. Approve and authorize the Chair to sign the Agreement with BHC Sierra Vista Hospital, Inc. for Psychiatric Inpatient Hospital Services from July 01, 2020, through June 30, 2022, not to exceed $90,000.00 as requested by the Director of Health and Human Services.**

8. Approve and authorize our newly hired Public Health Nutrition Manager II, to start at Step B, beginning on the start date of the employee which will be July 09 or 23, 2021m as requested by the Director of Health and Human Services.**
9. Approve and authorize the Chair to sign the First Amendment to the Agreement with Turtle Medicine (Agreement 2018-079) for Medical Services for Jail Inmates and Juvenile Hall Detainees as requested by the County Administrative Officer.**

10. Approve and adopt an Updated Bench Location Plan, Map and Policy with the Addition of Site #4 Pacific Avenue for placement of Donated Memorial Benches adjacent to and along Pebble Beach Drive as requested by the County Administrative Officer.**
11. Approve and authorize the Chair to sign the Agreements with Joseph Futrell and Helen "Elly" Hoopes for Miscellaneous Panel Public Defender Services for Fiscal Year 2021/2022 as requested by the County Administrative Officer.**

14. Approve and adopt Budget Transfer #06-04 in the amount of $10,000.00 within the Sheriff Budget Unit to offset the cost of canine training for the 20/21 Fiscal Year as requested by the Sheriff-Coroner.**

Approve the inclusion of a smooth drum vibratory soil compactor (roller) as a fixed asset purchase in the amount of $150,000.00 within the Roads Division Budget for the fiscal year 2021/2022 and authorize the Community Development Department to purchase the roller prior to the adoption of the final fiscal year 2021/2022 budget as requested by the Director of the Community Development Department.**
